This is the front of my card for Sabrina's HYCCT1308 challenge It's a Cover Up- to make a card with a hidden message (or image) which you can uncover by opening a flap or swinging a hinged tag or panel.
I covered the front of a white OS card base with the inside back of a Doodlebug Design pre-cut card after cutting out a half oval with the CB Grand Ovals to form a pocket on the front of the card. It's adhered to the base with Sookwang tape. I used the front of the Doodlebug card to form the purse flap, matching the fold and leaving about 1 1/2" flap to adhere to the back of the card. After cutting it to the shape I wanted and rounding the bottom corners, I cut two 1/4" strips and attached for handles. I used a MS punch for the flowers and adhered with glue dots. I used our large 3-hole punch to cut centers for the flowers; all my punches and dies were either too big or too small. The centers are also attached with glue dots, and dotted with a yellow Stardust pen. The flap opens to reveal the hidden message tucked into the pocket. Here' where my message is hiding:

Oh, I'm sort of glad I saw the inside first and then this. I knew there must be flowers, but not that they would be so much FUN. I love the way you've used them to fix the handle to your totally darling purse. Thank you for making such a fantastic cover-up for my challenge. Somebody will be so thrilled to receive this.

I am so totally in LOVE with this being a Pink Floral Purse.
I switched out my usual Vera hipster bag for a bigger PINK floral bag I have for Oct. ( cant think of its name but my tablet fits in it, its so big)
