This is my card for this week's IC 407 challenge. Our site this week is Eastern Accents. Fabulous stuff there and lots of home decor ideas.
I chose the christmas village pillow as my inspiration piece. I just received an order from PaperTrey Ink with new Christmas stamps and dies that I wanted to use. I bought this set because of this card created by Debbie Olson. I changed colors and added a layer to make it my own.
I decided to go with a sahara sand layer and matching dsp to pick up the colors in the pillow. But, that would be too drab for me as a Christmas card so I added colors.
My houses and church are stamped in choc chip, real red, old olive and teal. I used the matching dies to cut them out.
I die cut my snowbanks in white, stamped my sentiment and added ribbon treatment with a snowflake center.

Mary, a delightful Christmas village scene(I debated about this new PTI set and now after seeing your card, I'm sorry I didn't order it). Love how you did the bldgs in different colors and topped the whole card off with the candy cane ribbon.
