 | | This card meets three challenges: TLC446 - Leaf Stamping (to stamp with REAL leaves), WT443 - Sweet as Honey (use honey, a honey bee, a honeycomb, or any other honey accouterment) and MIX32 - Getting Into the Negative (Color an image (or a background), then take something away from it).
I stamped the daisy with bleach and fussy cut, then stamped again with Black Stazon. For the leaves, I inked leaves from my Indian Hawthorn shrub with various shades of green Distress Ink and pressed them onto white cs with my fingers. I cut out the leaf shapes and sponged lightly to blend in the white edges.
The mustard card base was embossed with the honeycomb ef and the bottom edge of the card front was cut using SB Curved Borders One. I cut the green scalloped border using another of the dies from that set, and adhered it with a glue pen. The rusty brown strip was adhered to the inside of the card on the back flap to provide contrast. I adhered the leaves in place with Glossy Accents and adhered the daisy with a double layer of foam tape. The little bees with their vellum wings are also attached with Glossy Accents.
