Fun challenge today! I love all the different cards lately showing sun rays. The only embossing folder I had that remotely resembled sun rays, was this diagonal candy cane stripe. So after embossing it, I sponged on some yellow inks for my "sun rays".
The strawberries were colored with Copics and die cut w/ a rectangle die. I also die cut the ODBD Fancy Flourish vine a couple of times and punched a few flowers to add onto the vine. I added a little stickles to the flower centers. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! It's on my blog w/ all the Copics I used. The Write Stuff

What a great way to add the sun's rays, Julie! And I really like the sponged yellow around the strawberries causing the sun to appear to continue right on them! Beautifully colored image and the flourish with flowers is an excellent addition! Love the sentiment placement~

Oh wow - for someone who didn't have any sun-ray stuff in your stash this is amazing! The sponging on the stripes is really wonderful, definitely full of sunshine. And the strawberry flowers on the vine are a delightful addition.
