You just have to love the mix ability challenges. They are so cool. It's fun to just play and see what kind of results you come up with. Playing is exactly what I was doing today. I tried the technique on regular card stock and then thought perhaps watercolor paper would work better. Not really. Anyway I used more mustard, really rust and ruby red reindeers. I used the new grid from SU. I also used a new oak leaf from Tim Holts. The acorn is an old PSX. I used my exacto knife to cut away some of the white watercolor paper.

Kim, this is so pretty. I can definitely see fall in your card. Love how the blown colors run into your leaves. I agree with Anne, I love how you cut on your card. Reindeer... too funny

Hey you all - I did not type reindeer. I was trying to type re inkers, and apparently my computer spell check preferred the spelling reindeer. It's nice to know someone is paying attention. I didn't even notice it. :>)

So cool! I love the cutouts. It's really a fun technique and sort of unpredictable... I should find the video of the Chinese painter who does the blowing paint and creates branches - it's absolutely mesmerizing to watch.

I love this! The colors make me feel cooler than our 100+ degree days right now. I had to laugh about the reindeer... hee hee! Totally something that would happen to me. Glad you enjoyed the challenge!
