I made this card for this week's Twisted Sister Challenge. Tater issued the challenge and she wanted us to make a beach card...with SAND, and no PINK on the card. Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge...Put TSC0809 in your keywords.
My card was made using a photograph that I took while on vacation several years ago. It was a dream vacation for me to make it to the West coast and I will probably never have the opportunity to do it again. So I am so very grateful to have some wonderful pictures and memories from the trip.
A friend took a photograph that I had and made into a pyramid sheet for me. I added two Jolee stickers on the card, the beach chair and seagull. I also added a dream sticker in the corner...I used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the bottom to hopefully look a little bit like sand.
Thank you for looking.
Jill

Two of you doing the same technique by chance! What are the odds. I love this. That chair and the sand are just a perfect element to add to the picture. I love the west coast and sometimes wish I never would have moved away but I love my home here too. Very pretty card and a great way to preserve your memories.

Jill, sorry I am just getting here, bt I HAD to tell you how much I loved this card - neat way of "embossing " your photo!!! At first I thought you had 6 layers on there!! Which lighthouse was that - I have seen a LOT of lighthouses - they are one of my favorites things, and my DH and I used to go on trips just to see new ones!!!

How awesome to get to the west coast; I've always wanted to do that too. I have family there. Jill I think you are just about the most creative person. Just look how you embellished this photo!!!! Awesome. I especially love how you extended the image of sand by using the EF!! I would never have thought of that and yet it is so perfect!!!!
