Soooooooo I needed a birthday card for my brother and I wanted to do another DTGD Challenge. I had absolutely no clue as to how to work gingham into a masculine card, but, I think this works.. at least it does for me *grins*
I wanted the "Happy Birthday" to have the frame like the ship, so I had to fussy cut the framelit from the Labels Collection. AND I so didn't mean to not have them going the same way, but it works. My background I saw on Gina K's video for creating wainscotting and I liked it so used it again http://stamptv.ning.com/video/wainscot-background
And yeah I know I could pick another one, but I am so trying to go outside my box.. and for me THIS was lol
After I first posted this I was going back thru the challenges and this can go for anther one! YAYYY me!!!

Oh my goodness! You sure did figure it out! What a great masculine card. Your bg is fab! Tanks so much for playing!
