 | | Sorry to be tardy, just got out of the hospital yesterday. (sigh) But so GLAD to be home!
This week the teaparty is for Karissa. She is a friend of Fran (philsmom). Karissa Fleagle, a friend's soon to be fiancée, is undergoing open heart surgery for the 5th time, she is also having her 18th heart catheter the day before her surgery.
The surgery is scheduled for July 9th. She is 20 years old. She was born with a congenital heart & lung disease.
That sure does seem like a lot to go thru at such a young age. Hopefully she will like my card filled with mystery items. I used a variety of stamps and embossed the background. I think that dog is really a bulldog, but that about as close to a pug as I have on hand. I spelled out Karissa's name, do you see all the letters? Just wanted to make this a little fun for her.
