 | | OK, I cheated - I don't have any black acrylic yet, but I used a very dark purple instead. When I managed to find some metal tape today, I had to sneak in a quick play!
Sizzix tag die, chipboard from the back of a legal pad.
Maya Road lock and key.
Drywall mesh.
I couldn't come up with much else to add texture, but since this is a smallish piece, the tracing wheel from my sewing box worked very well to add a little something.
Dymo label maker for the words, a heart button, and grosgrain ribbon stapled on.
I used some Lustre Rub-Ons, too.
So funny to see Treasure Wax booming in the craft world - when I worked in fine art supplies years ago we used to stock it. Not one of the things that ever made its way back home with me, sigh - it would be useful now if it had.
It's not often I have time to play along with the Fan Club theme either, but to me Lock and Key go together!! |
