 | | Buttons: cut with Sizzix dies, dry embossed with Cuttlebug folders, ink distressed with Antique Linen from Ranger, AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze applied for shiny finish, real thread and attached to the card with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the borders. I attach the tape all around the edge and two pieces centered from the sides and about an inch apart from top and bottom. I remove the backing from the two center pieces so it hold to the next layer and I left the edge backing on the tape until distressing was completed.
The Perfect Ruler was used to cut across the panel for the out of the box stem by cutting to the image from both sides then using my scissors to cut out the image.
Tool distressing: Tonic paper perforator and fingernail.
Ink distressing: sponge and Antique Linen distress ink from Ranger.
Image: SweetStamps – Aster
Copic colors: blossom - BV17,13,11, leaves and stem - YG67,63,61, YR24, shading around image – B60
Lace: My Minds Eye purchased at ArchiverÂ’s.
Stick Pens: Pinque Peacock
Scrapbook Adhesive foam pieces were used to pop up the panels and in this case I used the left over pieces from the foam hearts because I needed to pop up the large panel due to the bulk of the lace and wanted the flower panel also popped and this product is about half the thickness of regular pop up foam and if I can think of a way to use it, nothing goes to waste in my stamp room.
Paper: Bazzill – Blossom textured, Paper Bouquet – tan linen texture, Stampin Up – smooth Very Vanilla, Memories Complete – designer cardstock, Beckett Expressions – image panel white
The insert was dry embossed with a Cuttlebug thin folder and also ink distressed.
