WT435 It's Not Hard to Use... (7/11/2013) by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
As I love cards with more than 1 fold I am always looking for new patterns.
So I came across of this one, made for a Dutch challenge by Manuela Quispel.
Here is how this card is folded :
Take a rectangle piece of paper (landscape layout),score it in half and unfold it again .
Then from the bottom upwards you measure 1/3 of the total width, score and fold and unfold again.
Cut the horizontal score line from the left side all the way to the middle of your paper.
Fold the 2 small part again towards the back and close your card.
Now you have an extra little flap on the front of your card and one for a pocket on the back of your card
That is if you close it on the side... ( see extra photo's )
WT435 Welcome little one by niki1 at Splitcoaststampers
The PP's that I used are from HOTP 3221 : Stripes,Checks & Dots.
The images are from an old Decoupage sheet from WEKABO798.
Used dies from Marianne Design :
LR0202 flap on the front.
LR0234 frame and LR0241 for the sentiment (stamp)
LR0235 frame for text
On the back you see also a label from Magnolia for writing a personal message .
The inside of my card is embellished with embroidery and beats.
Now for the iron part...
I used an iron Dummy, button brads and on the label some circular clips.
