Linda asked us to do color blocks for the WT today. She mentioned acrylic blocks as a possibility. I latched on to that one since, on the whole, I am not fond of color blocking. By using various acrylic blocks(you may be able to see the scoring showing from one of the blocks...that was intentional), inking them up and then misting with water, I achieved a softer more watercolor-y look.

Your bg are always amazing. Love the colors, and the texture paper adds dimension to your card. Yes, I noticed the scoring....brings some added interest. Thanks for playing in the challenge. You graced the gallery with a stunning card.

Beautiful. I agree w/ Vicky - your backgrounds are always beautiful. Too bad there isn't a reality show on card making - you'd be right there in the top all the time.

Sallie, this went directly into my faves. Your background is fabulous. I love the acrylic block color stamping and you achieved the watercolor effect beautifully. Your BG embossed panel compliments the scoring on your image panel perfectly. I love everything about this beauty.

Incredibly gorgeous! Love acrylic block stamping but never thought to use it in the color block technique. The colors are beautiful and your background paper and gold floss- PERFECT!
