 | | I love Fridays because the new "mix-ability" challenge comes out on that day! Today Scrapacat (Ky) challenge was play with bright colors and then tone them down a bit.
I don't have a lot of stains and inks yet so I used what I had and had a blast!
I used tumbled glass and victorian velvet TH Distress stain, then added gesso with a credit card. After it dried I stamped MFT MPD Distressed backround stamps randomly on the card. The black was too intense so I hit the card again with some watered down gesso.
I colored the MFP heart with copics and then toned the colors down with gesso since they were too vivid to go with the DP.
I created the banner using the same stains and the dotted MFT MPD Distressed backround.
Now I just need to decide if this is good enough to send to my Artist SIL! |
