This graduation card is for a very special friend who went back to community college in his late 40’s and he did so well – he had the highest average in his class! Since anybody who receives a card from me expects it to feature a cat, I feel compelled to include one. I found the cat grad image through a google search, and it’s watermarked with Dreamstime.com. The digi sentiment “Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try” was a freebie from Desert Diva http://desertdiva-hannelie.blogspot.ca/, and I doodled the stitching with coloured pencils (Faber Castell). The “Class of 2013” digi was a freebie from Paper Crafts Magazine http://www.papercraftsmag.com/sentiments/index.html, which I coloured with the pencils mentioned above. The “Congratulations” stamp is from Kolette Hall, and the “A+” stamp is from the dollar store. Ink (Staz-On - Azure), blue paper (Recollections), DP (Memory Star), circle dies (Nellie’s Multi Frames), crown circle die (Spellbinders Nestabilities).
