 | | Hi, everyone! Our reigning Queen for the Day is Phyllis aka Tater.....congrats, Phyllis!!! What a super fun gallery! I chose this beautiful card for inspiration to create this birthday card for my brother in law. I will also be submitting to the ODBD Shining the Light 'Masculine/Father's Day' Challenge. The background was sponged, using scratch paper masks and sponge daubers and ink pads. After matting and paper piercing the panel, grosgrain ribbon was added to the card, then the scenic panel was popped up on foam tape. I love masculine cards......the guys like 'em plain and not too many 'doo-dads', although I did use a glitter pen on the dragonfly! Stamps used: the dragonfly and cattails are from ODBD's 'With Heartfelt Sympathy' and the verse is from ODBD's 'Bookmarks - Scriptures'.
