Thanks Cathy for a challenging sketch today. I find this to be my most challenging challenge among the weekly calls! So to stretch, I am here. It was the scale of the panels that encouraged me to go for it today.
The Emerson quote: HAPPINESS is a perfume which you cannot pour on someone without getting some on YOURSELF...just makes me gleeful! I work in an environment where you cannot wear any fragrance...which makes me sad...so I've taken to offering up kind words, smiles, cartoons cut from the daily newspaper as I go about my day. Even if I am SMELL neutral, I hope to be spreading JOY along the way.
Thank you for leaving your thoughtful take on my work...it is like a cyber spray of perfume!!!!! And how about you...smelling sweet today?????

Your sketch card as well as the message is wonderful, Susan! The perfume bottle is perfect for the quote...one would never guess it was a stretch for you!

Not such a bad idea to "smell neutral". Strong smells bring on migraines for me (among other things like flashing lights and bad weather!), so being near a perfumery is tragedy! I love your saying and bottle, and the piece behind it in the browns is wonderful!! You go, girl!!

I rarely use perfume. isn't that strange? but I like the idea of it. I tend to have allergy issues when someone else wears it so I unconsciously don't wear it myself. oh by the way, your card is outstanding, outstanding, outstanding.
