Hi everybody and Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Timeless Tuesday Challenge. This week the theme is "Summer Days"! Create a card or project that reminds you of summer days, incorporating the light and breezy feel of sheer ribbon. You can find out all of the details here. You can also see more details of my project on my blog. I decided to use the hydrangea stamp set.....in Georgia Hydrangeas are in full force during the summer and they are always gorgeous! I kept the card design pretty simple so the hydrangea blossoms could shine. I did use a little gem flourish I have been hoarding and some simple machine stitching on the edges. The sentiment is stamped on a Spellbinders nestie and sponged with some Tim Holtz distress ink. A bit of sheer ribbon finishes this off. Oh, Katie!! This is GORGEOUS!! The coloring of those blooms and the leaves is totally awesome - you sure paid attention to the teachers in that copics class!!! WOW!
The soft sponging around your flowers is like a whisper beckoning you to the sentiment and your papers are a beautiful backdrop for the hydrangea blooms!! Just breathtaking!
