 | | This is for MIX15. I worked on a piece of 6x6 inch chipboard. Large scraps of hand-stamped patterned/stenciled paper and WF Distress were applied directly to the board until the whole thing was covered and then I flipped it around this way and that until it struck me as something I could make into a scene. After that it was just a process of applying more scraps and die cuts to enhance and add detail. I did add some stamps also (some flourishes in the water and the trees on the hill) and of course I stamped those three birds and cut them out to use as a focal image. Make of it what you will. I kept putting it down and proclaiming loudly to anyone within earshot that I giving up on it, but then I would come back and pick it up again, so clearly it wan't going to leave me in peace until I either finished it or set fire to it.
Thanks for looking! |
