The title of this piece comes from an art teacher I had in college. Since I was a music major, I also had to take classes in the other arts. The usual class to take was this big lecture where all we did was look at slides of art but then at the end of the semester, we each had to do an art project. Anything we wanted. He called them our 'thingnesses.' So ever since then, when I do a project that is rather strange, I call it a 'thingness.'
I had already done this gelli plate print, started zentangling around it yesterday, just for practice really, but it fit both challenges today. So I continued doodling on it until I thought it was finished. This just for me. The main stencil was a tree, by the way (a 'thingness' tree).

So cool! I've got Gelli plate envy-I made my own gelatin plate but haven't played around with it yet. Love the way you used your Zentangling over the stenciled tree.
