 | | Check out the Flourishes blog today for some exciting news for Flourishes. . The Gerber Daisies have been on my desk lately creating some cards for friends and DH work girls. I stamped the Gerber Daisies onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. colored with copic collections buttercup, daffodil, flesh tones 1 and pistachio. Once colored I carefully trimmed around the flowers as the leaves have lot of angles in between each one. Added dimensionals to the back and set it aside. Two Color Made Easy paper packes were used for this card, True Blue and Rich Browns.
My frame is die cut with the CME True Blue using Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle die, one of my favorites! Layered a CME Rich Brown layer and then another piece of True Blue that has been textured with swiss dots. Took the white crochet lace and added it to the center along with the Color Made Easy Sunflower Antique gold ribbon for the color. Before I put the daisies down added a few flourishes pearls for bling. Then my flowers and sentiment. Voila! I do love how this turned out.
