This is for the mixed media challenge for this week....to 'rip it, paste it, ink it'. I chose several green papers and some pinks from my bag of bits and pieces and ripped them, so the white torn edges were showing. Then I layered them on dark brown c.s. One of my papers had a branch punched out of it, so I used that piece too. Then I glued them on and covered it all with Modge Podge. When dry I ran it through a brick embossing folder. I added pictured of a food dish and magazine picture, and a hand written sentiment. This goes to my dear sister-in-law who brought me food and the magazine shown to help me recouperate from a broken shoulder.

Great background! The embossing really kicks it up a notch!

This is great Ina! You got a lot of white to show on your ripped pieces and a little of the cs to show through. I like the brick ef, and how clever to show food and the magazine from your SIL. TFS
