I hope I won't get kicked out of the Mix-a-bility challenge today, it was only after I'd finished the whole card that I noticed Trudy said tear and paste "dp" for a bg - I tore, inked and pasted scraps of card stock, then added some stitching. Trudy will hopefully be very gracious with me! This SNSS set, designed by Dina Kowal, was also a present from her - thank you, my sweet friend! The torn, ripped edges remind me of affliction...which, when God pours in His grace, can be used to make something beautiful in character - I've seen it in the lives of many believers that I know.

Beautiful Bridget! I love the pretty bg and your coloring of the gorgeous image. I've seen God's grace extend beyond what I thought possible to endure in my own life so I really appreciate your card and thoughts.

Hello and nice to meet you, Bridget! I am blown away by the background of this card! What beautiful work! And it is a wonderful foil for the focal image, which is stunning.

Oh Bridget - how beautiful! It may not have been DP, but your torn and stitched background is just lovely.
C says hi - we hope you're not suffering too much with the weather and still have power. Our lights have been flickering all evening, but so far so good.
That's one of my (many!!) favourite hymns in the background of the stamp .

Truly Gorgeous, Bridget!! The sewing adds to the beauty of the torn and inked layers! As you start at the top, you see the ragged edges and rough twine, a simple beginning. When you get to the bottom, you see the glory of your beautiful lilies, there is the glory!
