This week our Queen is Angie (amrucci) and she has a lovely gallery filled with all kinds of wonderful cards!!! But when I saw her beautiful altered tin: WT218 Bella Rose Altoid Tin by amrucci at Splitcoaststampers
I knew I wanted to try to make one! I worked on it on an off during the weekend. I sanded down the tin, inside and out. Then I started cutting the various DPs, and adhering them with Mod Podge. I distressed the edges and added my layered flower and layered bird. I stamped my sentiment and stickled the petals. Lastly I used more Mod Pdge to seal the tin. I had fun trying this out Angie! Thank you so much for the inspiration! Hope you have been enjoying your week as Queen!!!

BRILLIANT!! I love this tin!! I love the colors and how it has sort of a shiny almost crackly glint to it..and your bird is awesome!! Me thinks I'll be CASEing this sometime...just sayin'...it had to jump right into my favs ;)
