Here's a card I put together this morning conquering two challenges at once! It's for this CAS204 Challenge and one of this month's Creative Crew Challenges...love! (Just make a card, scrapbook page or home decor for love, Valentine's Day, anniversary, etc.)
I was determined to use a color I RARELY, IF EVER use...Perfect Plum. Now I know I didn't use much of it, but I'm taking baby steps here. Besides, my SU Color Coach said this was a creative color combo, so who am I to argue?
I started with a Very Vanilla card base and rounded the two corners on the right. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment with Real Red ink. I inked up the floral image with Lucky Limeade, Real Red and Perfect Plum and stamped it on Very Vanilla cs. I layered this panel on Real Red cs and then added a scalloped piece of Perfect Plum along the edge. This panel is adhered to the card with Dimensionals and then embellished with a Perfect Plum button/Baker's Twine bow combo.
