Here's a card I put together this morning conquering two challenges at once! It's for this CAS204 Challenge and one of this month's Creative Crew Challenges...love! (Just make a card, scrapbook page or home decor for love, Valentine's Day, anniversary, etc.)
I was determined to use a color I RARELY, IF EVER use...Perfect Plum. Now I know I didn't use much of it, but I'm taking baby steps here. Besides, my SU Color Coach said this was a creative color combo, so who am I to argue?
I started with a Very Vanilla card base and rounded the two corners on the right. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment with Real Red ink. I inked up the floral image with Lucky Limeade, Real Red and Perfect Plum and stamped it on Very Vanilla cs. I layered this panel on Real Red cs and then added a scalloped piece of Perfect Plum along the edge. This panel is adhered to the card with Dimensionals and then embellished with a Perfect Plum button/Baker's Twine bow combo.

Wow Regina...I LOVE your scallop purple plum edge, button and a little plum on your flower. I never use that color either. You have inspired me again my friend. The CCREW challenges looks like fun too. TFS

OMG, what an amazing CAS card Regina. I'm with you on the perfect plum, but you've added just the right amount for a touch of it. I try to use that color coach, but it doesn't seem to work well for me. Probably "user" error. I love this!
