Today, Trish announced our new Queen to be Sue28! Sue is one of the sweetest gals!!! She helps out her Mom quite a bit and we seem to have a few other things in common. Sue has a fantastic gallery with so much variety and all wonderful!!! I decided to case this wonderful card: FS269 Tool Time by sue28 at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the layout the same, but made mine a Christmas card...as I still have so many to do...how many days left? While Sue's card is bright and cheerful, I distressed mine and, is Santa looking a bit concerned? Hopefully he isn't looking at the "naughty" list! LOL
The silver stars are German Scrap sent to me by Polly (Peeps321) Thank you Pol!
Sue, I hope you have a fabulous week as Queen!!! Even though it is so close to Christmas, I hope you get LOTS AND LOTS of cards to honor you!!!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Kathleen, I just love this Christmas card - Santa just looks like he has had a long day sitting on his Santa chair listening to childrens' wishes!! I love your distressed look, embossing and striped dp and Santa is coloured so well with your copics - what colour do you use for his face (it looks so close to skin colour)? Thank you for your very kind words and for making a card this week in my honour, it is SO much appreciated :p

He does look a bit concerned, doesn't he? I love how the die you chose emulates his beard flowing in the cold breeze while he's on his sleigh (maybe that's why he's concerned)! Pretty distressing and colors, Kathleen. A perfect tribute to our queen, Sue~

Kathleen, a lovely card to honor the Queen!! Your Santa is very intense, he must be fussing at the reindeer especially Rudolph!!

Terrific Christmas card with that stern looking Santa, Kathleen. Must have seen some "naughty" children's names on the list! : ) I totally agree with all the comments you made about Sue.

I LOVE this vintage Santa..the distressed look is fab...the embossed bg looks perfect with the stripes on the bottom and I think you used those stars in a very cool way..a small detail that adds so much!
