Wendy's challenge today....do a spring card. Great challenge ...nice to take a break from the holiday cards. I took my inspiration from a card by Loll Thompson. She did a card with a negative cut and created shadow by off setting it slightly. Here is the beautiful card I'm talking about. Copper Leaves by Loll Thompson at Splitcoaststampers
What I did to create a shadow...deembossed my dies, added some chalking around this and then cut out another die and glued it slightly off of the deembossing. It gives a shadow effect. Added my sentiment , bow and liquid pearls. tfl
