This card uses the VLV sketch for week 3 of November 2012. This sketch is definitely a keeper.
I purchased the My Mind's Eye papers today and had so much fun leafing through the stack and planning the card. It was necessary to mask part of the Verve Plain Jane stamp to make it fit on the banner. There is a good tutorial on isolating ink at Tosh's blog: http://stamptalkwithtosh.blogspot.co...label/Tutorial
A peg bow finishes off a card flat enough to mail to a friend in need of some encouragement.

These were my Grandpa Ensign's favorite of all scriptures....Psalm 121:1-2 "I wil lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help, My help cometh from the LORD, which made made heaven and earth." I remember him looking out our kitchen window up at the hills and reciting this verse most mornings. Thank you for helping me to recall such a precious memory from my childhood. I am SO grateful how God's precious Word has SUCH a powerful affect on our lives, and can lift us up when we are in need of encouragement. I am SO grateful for your faithful participation at Word Art Wednesday, and truly appreciate your art and how you always share your scripture cards with us. It really is a great encouragement to me, and to all of us. Thank you SO much. I hope you're having a blessed week!
