I recently had the pleasure of meeting Cindy Lawrence (The Creative Closet by Cindy Lawrence...onehappystamper.typepad.com) when I took the Copic Certification classes. I also had the opportunity of taking one additional class that Cindy designed and taught called "Copic Fun With Textures." And fun it was!
Cindy had us creating all different textures using a variety of materials to give our colorings a different look. This past week, I finished coloring the images and turned them into cards. These are the results.
Cindy taught us the "Pointillism" technique (adding small dots of color to create shading) on this card...problem is I think I added too much snow for you to really see it in this picture. We also created texture with Copic's Opaque White paint on the fur and for the snow storm.
Cindy also taught us another invaluable lesson...how to use your Copics to make matching dp when you don't have anything in your stash to go with an image.
