This is my submission for the challenge to make a shaped card. I kept this one REALLY simple, which isn't my norm! There isn't even any mounting tape on this one!
I formed the card base by cutting a pre-cut card just inside the edge of the die to form the fold, and cut a matching oval for the front to cover the missing scallops. I cut two ovals from the dp, one the same size as the card base, which I layered inside so that it shows a small edge. The smaller dp oval was adhered to the card front. This paper has a very subtle glitter to it and really is pretty.
I cut the sentiment twice, layered it and added it to the card front. I didn't put a greeting inside, but cut another smaller oval out of white cs so that the giver could add a personal note. I left it in the die and sponged the edges with DI Victorian Velvet.

What, no mounting tape?! LOL! That's one of my staples too... I'm proud of you for stepping outside the box. ;) Thanks so much for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!
