 | | This is my submission for the challenge to make a shaped card. I kept this one REALLY simple, which isn't my norm! There isn't even any mounting tape on this one!
I formed the card base by cutting a pre-cut card just inside the edge of the die to form the fold, and cut a matching oval for the front to cover the missing scallops. I cut two ovals from the dp, one the same size as the card base, which I layered inside so that it shows a small edge. The smaller dp oval was adhered to the card front. This paper has a very subtle glitter to it and really is pretty.
I cut the sentiment twice, layered it and added it to the card front. I didn't put a greeting inside, but cut another smaller oval out of white cs so that the giver could add a personal note. I left it in the die and sponged the edges with DI Victorian Velvet. |
