HavenÂ’t made my sister a card in awhile so todayÂ’s card is for her. We were to add a little dimension to our cards and this digi fit the bill.
I tweaked it a tad to resemble my sisterÂ…..hence the purse and eye glasses. If you recall, she has the famous tree that she posts her cards on. So if you would happen to drive by her house this scene is possibly what you would seeÂ…Â…..my sisÂ…the early years, with purse in one hand, instant coffee in the other and lots of those famous brush rollers in her hair. (She is going to kill me for this one! hehe) I made a similar card way back when only minus the tree and I am still alive!
I used a JenÂ’s Digi, printed it out three times. Used one for the main scene and the others for layering and layering I did! Colored with copics and used glossy accents for the specs.
Drew the tree and stamped the leaves. Coloring was done with prisma pencils and gamsol.
Well, Sis ( Connie Jo9 ) this oneÂ’s for you! So glad you donÂ’t live close by. hehe Not really, I wished you lived right across the streetÂ…Â….so I could save 44 cents! Â…again hehe Have a great day everyone!......TFL :0)

LOL - a girl just didn't look right if she didn't curl her hair with those dang things.....man those brush ones were terrible, always tangling up the hair. What I love most about this card is them furry slippers, regular floor mops they were, guess your sister likes to multi-task as she drinks that instant java.....one adorable card.

Those rollers almost look like marshmallows that belong in her cocoa but got stuck in her hair instead! Lol Too funny~But really, you have a great sense of humor and I'm sure your sister will love you for this card and all the details......well, maybe you'll be in for a surprise of your own before she's through with getting you back~

Ha! So fun Cathy! I spend my time straightening my curly hair each day, but if I flatten it out too much - then I put a few well- self - adhering rollers in my dry hair for 5- 10 minutes and bingo - a bit of lift back. I so understand the challenges your sister faces! Hugs! Cute card!

Now those curlers bring back memories. In high school I had long hair and every night I would roll my hair in curlers the size of juice cans. Even slept on them!! Crazy huh? Cute card. I'm sure you sis will pay you back sometime in the future
