Well sis, you made it to the big time. You are Queen for the Day! How exciting is that? I am so proud of you . You have become such an amazing card maker that it is going to be a challenge to case one of your cards. But needless to say, I did. I chose this one .
We were also to Share a story about something we love. Well, I know you love to camp and so do I. I remember camping with Uncle Joe in the back of the camper down along the Colorado river. What fun. I can hear him now running down the banks of the river after a 25 cent bobber that you lost while trying to pull in the big one saying “Connie, Connie, Connie!”
Fast forward several years and this is what you might see coming out the back of that camper in Hot Sulphur SpringsÂ…..YOUÂ…..with your signature brush rollers. How fun is that? Wished we lived closer, we could make this scene a reality! Â…..Let me ask you thisÂ….Do they still sell brush rollers or are those things in your hair antiques? Hehe Just a thought. I see you still have your purse.
Connie, you are so deserving of this honor. You not only make gorgeous cards, but you actually send them to people! Plus you leave the best-est comments, always over three words and all spelled correctly! Hehe So dear Sis, Congrats! Enjoy your time as Queen. Â…..my card brieflyÂ….
Printed out a Prairie Fairy Digi and tweaked it. Actually I printed her out twice then drew the camper scene around one of the images. Stamped the doggies, clear ep & colored with copics then cut out. Drew the curlers, and purseÂ…colored, cut out. Colored the camper and my sis with copics. Cut it all out.
On a blank white card I stamped the mountains, sun, clouds and trees. Left it black and white because thatÂ’s what the card I cased was like. Well, this was so much fun to make. Hope you all like it! Â…Â…TFL :0)
Hi Sis! This oneÂ’s for you!

I think it is terrific that you and your sister have such a good relationship. The card you made today is cute, and obviously brings back good memories. The curlers in her hair are a funny thing - do they still make them?? That is the question of the day. I love the little puppy dogs. :>)

Your card is so funny! My sister also lives far away and we scrap and make cards via Skype!
She and her husband are also campers and this would be a fun card for her!
Thanks for sharing and I love your artistic talents

Ok, sis. I see another secret is out there for the world and Annie Jo to work on. I do not use brush curlers anymore but I still curl my hair when I camp. I use plastic curlers. The brush curlers were pulling too much of my hair out. My spelling expertise is all due to spell check!!!! It is the most used system on my computer.
Your card is a riot!!! I love the mountains and so enjoyed the memories we shared with our awesome Uncle Joe. I love the fact that you especially made a card for me for this special day. I will be getting an official Mutnik original!!! I requested a good card and you made a GREAT one!!! thank you, sis.
hugs,

Love this image! From reading all these tributes to Connie Jo, I have got to learn more about her. I was not familiar with her gallery. I love the stories about her hair rollers and purses. You did a fab job on this card.

LOL....this is just way too cool. You are such an amazing artist. The camper is great, not to mention those antique rollers in your sisters hair. Didn't you just hate sleeping in those...what we did/do for beauty :-) I have to be honest, your sister gets a little too dolled up for camping, those slippers will probably get very dirty.

Oh how pretty Connie looks in the morning. I remember brush rolls, my mom has very thin and straight hair and seeing her with those in the morning and evenings was a casual happening!
Love your scene, you two "nik's" sistahs are sooooo funny and sweet. TFS Cathy, what pretty little doggies, one with glasses on his head...hey he must be from California!

Hey!! My mom still has those rollers!! Doesn't use them, just has them. I remember them sticking in my head all night so I would have a curly ponytail in the morning for my gymnastics competitions. After all the torture, there was not a curl to be had, but she kept putting them in and trying anyway!!!! Connie, YOU LOOK MAHVELLLOUS, Dahling!! Cathy, YOU DRAW MAHVELLLOUS, Dahling!!
