I'm sorry, Lydia - I had to fudge a little bit. I don't have a go-to style, I dabble here and there.
I do LOVE using stamps to make my own backgrounds, and typically I don't use a lot of DP (except for a sketch challenge), nor do I use a lot of layers or a lot of embellishments. So if something on this is what makes me happy stampingly, it's my background. And my distress inks...
A2 base. I stamped white card with Print Pattern in black and embossed it, then sponged with Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick. Then I stamped Music Notes all across it with Smokey Grey, and then sponged the edges with Soot Black.
Penny Black image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks, distressed and sponged lightly with Antique Linen. I drew in the tiled floor. Spellbinders flourishes, some old Primas and a pearl finish it off.
Now off to do a bit of housework...

Emboss resist with distress inks is a technique I really like. You got such a vibrant shade here - love it! The watercolor tile under the stamped image really grounds the (adorable) kitty and ties it all together. Great card!

Sabrina, this really is YOU! I love how it reflects your personality and loves - and I admire SO much being able to do wonderful things with inks - as you have here - this is just adorable and ever so sweet!
