If you start with the more complex card and then design the simpler one from that, are you "stepping it down"?
Because that is what I did with this Creative Crew challenge card set for the DSP/color focus challenge. And I really "don't do" designer paper unless you really twist my arm...and give me the paper, LOL!
So, you get colors! Raspberry Limeade and Espresso. Yum!
Details:
From the white version to the color one, I
...went from white card base to limeade
...added an espresso layer
...stamped a second flower and cut it out, then layered it over the one on the white layer.
I didn't do anything too fancy on stepping this one up.
The espresso layer really is even all the way around. The angle of the picture makes the top look wide and the bottom narrow.
The inked border is done totally by eye. One could also draw with a ruler or around a piece of chipboard.
The greeting is from Watercolor Trio, but you could use absolutely any greeting you wanted.
