Today's Inspiration Challenge is French Country House.
I chose the hydrangeas in the upper left hand corner of my photo. Used Stampin' Ups Stipple Hydrangea for my image. Added twoamory Box Madera corner and Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch with rhinestones. My background EF is from Sizzix.
Haven't decided if this will be a Thinking of you or Birthday card, so the inside is blank.

Happy to be the first to congratulate you on this gorgeous card! Hydrangeas are my ultimate favorite flower to stamp and especially to color (I'm definitely a work in progress in that area, hmm but am determined I'll improve), and your card was just a lovely breath of fresh air as I looked into the gallery and immediately my attention was diverted to your card. I haven't pulled out my prismas in a long time, you've inspired me to do so! My first card in my tiny gallery is a prismas coloring of a hydrangea, my first try at gamsol. But yours is much nicer, and I love to learn from others and appreciate that opportunity.
One question, how did you get the texture on the cream cs that it appears you've stamped the hydrangea?
Love how you've grounded the card with the deeper purple EF layer--lovely!
Thank you for sharing your artisty with all of us.

Your embossing folder goes so well with the lovely hydrangea. And I like the way you colored it -- with the blues and pinks. I'm not much of a gardener, so I never remembered whether my soil was supposed to be acidic or alkaline -- so the flowers were usually a mix of pink and blue.

Oh how pretty Vicky -I love hydrangeas- ours were small this year and not so plentiful-we think it was due to the frost after it budded -anyway yours is a beautiful reminder and the recipient will love it
