I had the pleasure of meeting this week's Queen for the Day a few years ago at a stamping retreat. I am so happy to CASE one of Peggy's (pegmac71) cards. I chose her Hello Friend because I wanted to use a technique I found a couple weeks ago called Pillow Top. I replaced Peggy's plaid DP with this pillow top technique. Because I popped up my center panel, I did not wrap the ribbon around the whole card. I also added a sentiment and some piercing.

Your card is beautiful, Lois...super Fall creation. My sister told me where to find that technique recently but I've never tried it. It is really so pretty and unique.

Awww...Lois....we had a blast at that retreat didn't we! My eyes went straight to that pillow background panel when I first looked at your card. I have it on my "to do" list for sure. Your card is beautiful with that scrumptious ribbon and paper piercing. Love it!

Love this card. It is so simple yet so elegant. I love the colors and the big maple leaf.
