Congrats to Ceal! I really enjoyed strolling thru her wonderful gallery and since she has a lot of CAS designs, that was the direction I took. I chose her Blue Christmas to case, keeping the Christmas theme and blue colors, but changed the images and used a die cut instead of the embossed background.
The images are from DRS Designs. The Tidings of Great Joy was silver embossed on the dark cobalt blue to make it stand out. The starry background was stamped in the same silver ink, but not embossed. This fancy butterfly die looks more like an angel to me than a butterfly, so I die cut it out of some silver card stock and the backing wing layer out the dark blue. I added a silver layer and another dark blue layer before attaching it all to my 4.25 x 5.50 card.
Thanks so much for looking and enjoy your week, Ceal! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
