| | It's a black and white themed card for a 65th birthday! I found an old photo of the birthday boy but it was all scratched and had some dark marks on it but my Photoshop Elements 10 cleaned it up so nicely and now it is the interactive surprise for the recipient
The background dp inspired me with its starburst image. I colored in the rays with a clear Spica pen but it wasn't obvious enough for me so I diecut a starburst image out of some super sparkly paper and placed it over the dp to add dimension and shine. I then placed the camera near it to make it look like the flash went off. I cut another strip of the dp with a smaller starburst and arranged it on the bottom of the card near the pull tab for affect.
The camera consists of two dies (camera and pull tab) but I also stamped an extra camera and handcut the center out to pop it up on the camera and then added an epoxy circle over the lens for a little realism.
Thanks for looking. I hope my card helps to inspire you to stamp a card. |
