I'm so glad I had only got as far as picking out this steampunk owl from the IC challenge, because it was perfect for combining with Stacy's DTGD challenge.
The owl watch reminded me of this little embellishment a friend sent me - I think she made them from air-dry clay. In keeping with the watch in the IC, I used two clock stamps. One is stamped in Dove Grey StazOn straight on the A2 white base. The small rectangle was stamped and embossed with gold, then sponged with Tea Dye and layered on black. The sentiment is from the same set.

Wonderful card! I love the BG and pretty embossed panel. I really, really love the little owl - it reminds me of a brass door knocker on my friend's house!
