This lovely mermaid is a Digi by Alexis Underwood for FeathersInFlight. I am using this card for two challenges. The sketch challenge that Holly gave us and the monthly word challenge. This month's word is GEM. Nice and Easy!
G-Green, Gems, Girl
E-Embossing, Enigma, Endearing
M-Marvelous, Mystical, Mermaid
The oval shape was made with the Wild Card Cartridge. The green and white flourishes were made by Arizona Maine. She made them for me when I first started here, and I have been hoarding them! lol Thank you again Angela!
I added lots of gems. What can I say, I live in the south and we like anything sparkly!!!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Ditto, ditto on everyone's comments..your maid of the sea is GORGEOUS on her swirly perch complete with jewels from the depths (Titanic perhaps?)..fabulous card Kathleen...and we Northerners like a bit of sparkle, too..why do you think we like snow so much?? It's the sparkle factor..can't be any other reason...
This is such an unusual card. I just keep looking at it. Your coloring, the swirls throughout and the added jewel embellishments make this a very special and eye appealing card. You out did yourself.

What a lovely mermaid! I love all of the flourishes you used. It reminds me of the sea. I'd love to be a mermaid soaking in the water right now, as it is super hot here in Wisconsin today!!!!

The shades of blue really capture the feeling of the sea! I have that Wild Card cartridge and never thought of using that oval with swirls like that - thanks for the inspiration!!
