For today's Distressed Edges Challenge, I used Hero Art's Sew Artsy set and Tim Holtz's Patterns to come up with this card. I added some real pins to my pincushion, and some hand stitching on the brown vertical border. For safety's sake, I used some recycled foam mounting from my wooden stamps on the back of my card so as to avoid getting pricked.

As someone who started sewing very early on, I think this is fabulous and it brings back SO many memories because I was always having to shorten between the neck and waist. Love those papers, too.

I started sewing early, too. One of the biggest challenges was to match plaids, and I notice you've got plaids in your bg. Best thing learned: to give in to the random-ness of clothing construction with plaids. Fabulous! Very fun card.
