This week our cards are going off to Ontario, Canada, to a gentleman that goes by the name of Gypsy. Gypsy is wheelchair bound, so we're sending scenes of the country to him.
This is a nice scene of the hot air balloons over Sonoma County, Ca. Maybe a little earlier in the season, as the hills have already turned a light shade of brown. It's still beautiful here, though.
I've torn the green textured c/s to make the layers of countryside. I cut a second layer of the tree in green to get the new branches and leaves. The bushes are in full bloom. Those are from the smallest sizes of circle and oval dies, with little blue dots of fabric paint. The balloons are done on metallic c/s that I colored with alcohol inks. Those itty bitty butterflies you see, they are from the second size of the butterflies circles dies. I have quite a collection of tiny butterflies.
I hope that Gypsy enjoys all the views of countryside that are coming his way. This is just a sampling from my piece of the planet.

Gorgeous! Who wouldn't want that lovely view of Sonoma countryside? You did it proud. I especially love the texture of that sky. You're really blessed: you have so much wonderful talent and you live in the Sonoma beauty every day. Never gets old, does it?
