Frame was bought at Wal-Mart for 97 cents Â… these frames donÂ’t come with glass so I cut a piece of acetate to size to put in front of the picture. Painted back, sides and inside area where picture goes black.
Torn the paper in to random sizes and stamped two of the pattern papers with SU background stamps (Sanded and French Script) and sponged the edges. Used a foam brush and applied mod podge and then laid the paper strips on the frame (extend the paper strips over the edges). Applied more mod podge over the top of the paper. Once dried, I trimmed the extra paper with a craft knife and then sponge the edges. Printed the sayings on paper, cut into strips and sponged the edges and applied to frame using mod podge and then mod podge over the top of the sayings once placed on the frame.
This flower was made using the Bigz L Fun Flowers Die from StampinÂ’ Up. Stamped paper with French Script background stamp and then cut each of the flowers 3 times, sponged the edges, and poked a hole in the middle. I then layered the flowers, offsetting them, hooked together with a brad, spritzed with water and scrunched up over the brad. Let dry slightly and then carefully opened the petals till you have your desired look. Once dried, I mod podge each of the petals. Leaves were cut using the Sizzix Decorative Accent with Flower & Leaves Die. I sponged the edges and mod podge.
The tag was scrunched and sponged and then I applied mod podge and let dry to keep “bent” shape.
I embellished with pearls, ribbon, lace, and hat pin.
TFL!
