I love the embedded techniques so I couldn't pass up a chance to play with the faux pressed flowers even if I am getting around to it later in the day (had to go out and work on some real live flower beds!) I started by embossing the branch on a piece of white that I'd cut with a circle Nestabilities die. I colored my leaves and buds with markers and sponged on Tempting Turquoise. I used the wrinkle free distress bg technique on a piece of watercolor paper then punched out my flowers. The tiny ones are from pieces that are left when you punch the lace ribbon strip. I adhered these to my branch then embossed the whole piece with the snowburst ef. I then added some silver liquid pearl centers to my flowers. I backed this with a black circle and then layered some scallop edged pieces with a wide pink gingham ribbon. My quote is torn from a pack of vellum quotes and adhered with vellum tape.

Queen Gail, absolutely stunning! I LOVE all the textures, colors and ribbon with scallop edges. TFS and for Sharing your description. A really cool technique that you mastered ;-)
Have a great week as Queen for the Day :-)
