Here is my card for teapot Tuesday! I included a BIG birthday cake under my butterfly so that means I get extra cookies, right?
This card also works for Monday's Technique challenge of cropping an image since I cut just the cake out of a Stampendous image and left the platter and candles and word "HAPPY" out. I had fun decorating my cake with glitter glue and scallops (made by punching paper with a round punch then cutting them in half). It looks a bit lopsided in the end, but that's how you know it's home-made, right? LOL.
One thing I am extra proud of...the base card was a note card I received that had the fancy edge and the pink strip on the inside. I cut the front and the strip off the card and attached them to the front of a plain blank card to reuse. I had it for a while and finally got around to using the card base for this project.
