The challenge is called TOFF#38 - Boys will be Boyz and the rule is to make something with a male theme.
I love this image - several people have told me that they think the image is dark in some way (like a bad thing). Octopode images are not bad - the artist makes all her characters with big eyes - it is just her thing. I prefer to think of them all as super surprised they are on a card (or a canvas, or a drawer, or a box, etc) - I mean, wouldn't you be surprised if you were on a card? I guess perception is everything, and my perceptiong is that this is a representation of that gorgeous and super talented Johnny Depp!

Have you gone stark raving GOTH Nancy....lol I think that is what "several people" may be referring to the style of the images. It kind of reminds me of the group Evanescence. When I first heard Amy Lee sing I said oh my goodness what a voice. And then I read she was Goth!!! lol It still doesn't change the fact I think she has an awesome voice. So goes with these images. It's something fun about the unstructured whimsical lines that draws you to the image you love. So be it-have fun. You're really good at creating with them. I enjoy it very much.
