The vintage patterns on the Johnny Tapete website (for today's Inspiration Challenge) are SO cool!! I was inspired by the big flowers prints, and the warm colors of some of them - the browns and golds were so luscious! This one really stuck with me.
I am sort of in love with the shaped card I made today, which is also for this month's Stampendous Shaped Card Challenge! I used the Isn't She Lovely dress template from Creations by AR for this project. The template comes with three pieces - a dress shaped card base, a dress front, and a dress bodice. I stamped a portion of the cling jumbo Dahlia on the dress front, then sprinkled Aged Gold Embossing Enamel on it and heat set from underneath. On the bodice, I sprinkled more enamel and heat set it. I fussy cut it all out, and sponged the edges. After I adhered it all together I tied an off-centered green satin bow (it is St. Patrick's Day after all!).
