JG0308 Recycled Box
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Em1941

I made this box for JoanÂ’s Garden Challenge #9.
I used a recycled snack size pop-top fruit can. I removed the bottom of the can using a safety can opener and filled it with goodies and glued the bottom back on the can. I then decorated the bottom and sides of the can. The pop-top is on the bottom. To open the can, turn it over and pull the pop-top.
I used an Easter theme. I purchased the eggs and other decorations from $1.00 Tree. The green grass on the bottom of the can is “Cheery Lyn Grass Border Die” and used rope trim on the top and bottom edge. The sides are decorated with dimensional stickers and punched flowers. I used paper Easter basket grass and glued it to the top of the can. Then I glued 3 eggs in the grass and placed a string a pearl in with the eggs.

What a fantastic idea. This is such a cute container for an Easter treat. Thanks for joining us in our challenge at Joan's Gardens.
