Photo Details
This next vellum-only card comes from Pat Hosking's Pergamano Cards for All Occasions, from La Riviere Crea Book, 7th Edition, 2001 ( © 1997). I haven't made these types of cards in a very long time and really like the detail, elegance and dry embossing they represent. The pattern and instructions were followed, but not as detailed as what was provided. I simplified the edges and the cross details, but the remainder of the pattern is as provided. I outlined all the images using a white pencil crayon (I usually use white ink), I dry embossed everything, then cut out the oval and card edges. I then painted the flowers and leaves from the wrong side with Pearlex. I heat embossed "He is Risen" from the Stampin' Up! set of the same name in the oval (which you can't see very well).
